PROJECTS

Self-titled Poster

1. Reference & Sketches

As usual, before starting I searched up references on Pinterest for ideas. These are some I find interesting to use:

After consulting with Mr. Hafiz, I began working on my sketch. I tried to use the idea of ideas popping out of my head, so this is what I came up with:

Lastly, I asked my friend to take a picture of me and also gathered photos I can use from my gallery.

2. Digital Poster

The first step is to select the area of the ripped paper. Then, I add my photo on the bottom right of the poster.

Next, I put the random photos I found from my gallery on the crack of the paper. I also added a solid black background and an exposure adjustment layer to darken the objects.

After that, I put a noise filter and threshold on each layer. I also added a text which spells out "IDEAS" that I previously made earlier on Adobe Illustrator.

REFLECTIONS

This week, I learned how to add meaning behind the designs I made. On this project, I made sure every object and the placements have meanings.
