Mural Competition
1. Brainstorming
On the day before the competition, Me and my friends (Group 12) brainstormed a few ideas and concepts that we can use for the mural we were going to make the next day.
2. Competition
Before we went to The Starhill Atrium to take part in the competition, we settled to meet up at the campus to book a grab together. After we arrived, we were instructed to fill up our attendance and follow the opening ceremony. We were then handed 3 sets of colored pencils and two sheets of A2 paper so we can finally start working on our mural.
We expressed the theme of unity in diversity from a concept of music festival. Music can unite people from around the world together through festivals and concerts, therefore uniting people from different backgrounds and ethnicities.
After the time is up, Ms. Anis told us stop working on the mural. Then they started to score all of the murals and announce the winner. Although I think me and my friend's mural is very interesting concept-wise, unfortunately, we did not win the competition.
All in all, it was a very fun experience for we were able to let our creativity flow through a piece of paper together as a team. I also appreciate how we can give feedbacks and cooperate with each other throughout the event which made the event much more lively.
