Poster Design

The first thing I did is to search for reference and moodboards on Pinterest and Instagram.

We are told to pick one motivational quote that is inspirational and does not contain any negativity. Hence, I chose a quote from the song After The Strom, by Kali Uchis. "So if you need a hero, just look in the mirror." Here are the sketches I made for the poster design.

After receiving feedbacks from Mr. Hafiz regarding sketch 1 and 2, I immediately started working on a new sketch and that is how I came up with sketch 3. Next, I took some photos, look for some mirror stock images to use and started working on my poster.

REFLECTIONS

This week I did not really do much, since all we were tasked to do is to find moodboards and do a little bit a sketching. However, by implementing one of the design principles (emphasis) from lecture week 6, and applying the golden ratio to my poster, I can get a nicely done composition.
