PROJECTS
Final Project
We are tasked to make a short video consist of one VFX minimum. We were given the chance to draw tarot cards as the theme of our video. I teamed up with my friend Angie for this project, and below is the proposal for our project.
The video will take place on my bathroom and Angie's room for the setting.

We only gonna be using empty soju bottles and a laptop for the prop. For the lighting, We will be using Angie's desk lamp. Everything will be shot on Angie's phone too.
To start the pre-production process, We first have to make the storyboard and fill up the shot list on the ppt.

We shot only during nighttime, here are all of the shots and takes taken.

We asked for feedbacks from Mr. Martin. He told us to remove monologues and change parts of the story. The voicelines from the reporter is now an AI voice generated from https://elevenlabs.io
Here is the final video.
REFLECTIONS
Doing this final project for Video and Sound Production was actually pretty fun. I worked with Angie and we based our short video on the tarot cards we picked. We used her phone to film everything so we had to be creative with what we had. Before filming we made a quick storyboard and filled out the shot list. We mostly filmed at night since it fit the vibe and that was the only time we were both free.
Editing was where things got more interesting. We added two VFX effects, one for supersonic speed and another fireball shot. It took some trial and error but turned out pretty cool. We used Premiere Pro to edit everything and played around with the colors to get the right look. Mr. Martin gave us feedback to cut out the monologues and tweak the story a bit so we made some changes and even used an AI voice for the reporter part. In the end I am happy with how it turned out especially considering we only used basic stuff and still made something that looks decent.
