REFLECTIONS

Experience

Advanced typography was fun. Obviously I went through a lot of problems and distractions throughout the tasks. For example, when I was struggling with task 2, I was so stressed out because no ideas came across my mind. As a result, my workflow became messy and that was my first time pulling an all nighter lol. But, advanced typography, I feel, gave us more creative freedom on the tasks, which is good because it made me able to express my creativity more.

This my first ever module with Mr. Vinod as the lecturer. Before this semester, I heard from my friends that he is a quite strict teacher. I would say so too, yeah, he is quite charismatic and he guided us through our tasks pretty well by giving feedbacks and suggestions.

Observation

I realized that the 8 typographic systems apply to most of my works throughout my tasks.

Findings

I get to learn how to do mock-ups through photoshop. This task also made me realized that doing collaterals is not the easiest thing to do, so I need to learn more about that.
