04/11/24-29/11/24 (Week 7 - Week 10) Samuel Keane / 0376236 Digital Photography and Imaging /  Bachelor of Design (Hons) in Creative Media Project 2 - Compilation REFLECTIVE WRITING I feel like I have learned so much just from working on project 2. For instance, I learned how to use layers to create a double exposure effect and use the adjustment layers to alter the colors and vibe of an image or object. My knowledge around Photoshop is still minimal, but I feel like attending tutorial classes, watch Photoshop tips, and listening to Mr. Fauzi's lecture is still easy to follow, at least for now. Project 2 is a little bit different from project 1 in various aspects. First of all, in project 2 we were given more creative freedom on the tasks, which means we can express ourselves more. While project 1 leaned more into the basics of Photoshop and compositioning in general, project 2 teaches us how to create an artistic compositions using Photoshop. In conclusio...

Dream-like scenes and symbolic images. 2. Unexpected, illogical juxtaposition. INSTRUCTIONS PROJECTS Poster Design Moving on to week 9, I started working on the layout of the poster on Photoshop. The first step is to add a background. I took this stone-textured wallpaper photo from my friend's apartment. Then, I put a threshold layer on top of it and another color layer with linear burn on it. Fig. 3...

23.09.2024 - 03.11.2024 (Week 1 - Week 6) Samuel Keane / 0376236 Digital Photography and Imaging /  Bachelor of Design (Hons) in Creative Media Project 1 - Compilation REFLECTIVE WRITING Digital Photography & Imaging in my opinion is one of the more enjoyable courses we have on the first semester. Like everyone else, I was very overwhelmed. However, I still remember Mr. Fauzi said that Adobe is the staple for this industry which makes me have the need to learn how to use this software. The process of each exercises are very easy to follow since we were provided with very informative tutorials. Even so, I still have to face challenges because we also have to create our own design from some exercise which I find both challenging and fun. For example, when I was working on my digital collage, I was struggling on finding the correct composition yet it challenged me to think outside of the box.  These exercises made me understand Photoshop more.
