Digital Photography & Imaging - Project 1
REFLECTIVE WRITING
Digital Photography & Imaging in my opinion is one of the more enjoyable courses we have on the first semester. Like everyone else, I was very overwhelmed. However, I still remember Mr. Fauzi said that Adobe is the staple for this industry which makes me have the need to learn how to use this software.
The process of each exercises are very easy to follow since we were provided with very informative tutorials. Even so, I still have to face challenges because we also have to create our own design from some exercise which I find both challenging and fun. For example, when I was working on my digital collage, I was struggling on finding the correct composition yet it challenged me to think outside of the box.
These exercises made me understand Photoshop more. From selection brush, to the lasso tool, the pen, to adjustments layers, I have learned all of these through the exercises. As an example, the digital collage exercise taught me how to cut and select elements and adjustments layers. Not to mention, it also teaches us how to create good compositions.
Overall, I think these projects has made me learn so many aspects of Photoshop. It also forced me to think outside of the box. With every projects done, I feel very satisfied with how it ended up which made me feel excited to learn more about Digital Photography.
